There’s got to be a story behind that face.

Biznecdote is live…Let the story begin!

For the past year, I’ve been thinking about starting a podcast and I’ve gone through various fits and starts making slow progress, but it begins NOW!

Professionally and personally, I’ve always been curious and loved learning from others experiences. And really that’s what my podcast Biznecdote is about, the stories of how sales, marketing and product professionals have achieved success in their careers.

The best way to kick off a project like this is with a couple friends that I’ve met along my journey. First, one of my best friends who also happens to be a digital marketing rockstar – Waseem Kawaf. We both followed parallel career journeys, starting in finance honing our knowledge of financials and how business works and making the transition to marketing where we both get to tell stories and help customers. Check out Waseem’s episode here.

That brings me to Chris Bent the other half of my podcast 1-2 punch to get rolling. Chris’s story is one of fearless exploration and entrepreneurial spirit, trying different roles, functions, and adventures. If you’ve ever considered starting anything – especially on your own – self-doubt and a mixture of fears that range from, what if no one likes what I’m doing to the opposite spectrum what if everyone likes what I’m doing start to creep in. Chris is of the mindset of let’s just do it and see what happens – which is EXACTLY the reinforcement I needed to take the first steps, and also is what has led him to launch his own company, Piccles, a collaborative drawing platform check out Chris’ episode here.

I hope you enjoy the podcast, and blog at http://www.biznecdote.com. Follow @Biznecdote on Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and please share feedback, ask questions.
